In the case of diseased or dangerous trees, city permits are not required but you must have ARC approval and a certified arborist&#8217;s documentation. Not all tree trimmers are certified arborists so if you are not using an arborist then simply submit a permit to the city. It&#8217;s free and only takes a day or two for the city arborist to visit your lot.&nbsp;<em><strong>Do not fall prey to predatory tree trimmers, it could cost you fines and tree replacement costs.<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left has-black-color has-text-color\">The city requires an approved <a href=\"https:\/\/forestedgehoa.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/ARC-APP-TREE-Removal_Install.pdf\" data-type=\"attachment\" data-id=\"1001\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">ARC form<\/mark><\/strong><\/a> before an<strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.altamonte.org\/DocumentCenter\/View\/47\/Tree-Removal-Permit-Application_Residential\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">arbor permit<\/mark><\/span> <\/a><\/strong>is approved.
